A relaxing sensory walk lead by experienced Nature Guide, Phil Macari. Consider this a mini-holiday for the heart, head and senses, open to adults and children 8 and over.
This is an excellent way to celebrate Earthday – a global event held every April 22nd celebrated by over a billion people.

Experienced Nature Guide Phil Macari will lead you through a light, relaxing and immersive walk through the woods.
An Earthwalk flows through several activities in a playful and refreshing way, fostering connection and kinship with nature. Think of it as a mini-holiday for the heart, head and senses.
The Earthwalk itself is about 1.5 hours, followed by an hour around the fire with herbal tea and a final ‘Magic Spot’ before departing.
Time / Date: 10am – 1pm, Friday 22nd April, 2022 (short walk from carpark to site, the Earthwalk begins at 10:30am by the Forest Classroom – just follow the road down from the carpark, staying left.
Location: Chopwell Woods (meet at Chopwell carpark) NE17 7EH
Outdoor footwear / clothing recommended. Bring snacks if you fancy a nibble.
Phil Macari is an experienced Nature Educator, Ecologist and Earthwalker and has worked within nature immersion and connection for many years. Still a fresh as a daisy, he brings warmth, energy and a charismatic depth to his sharing and leading.
